The reflection isn’t the mountain

I’ve been skating by on a torn right meniscus for over a year now. It’s mostly been manageable. But yesterday, after a few heavy weeks on court, I started to feel that familiar sharp soreness creep back in. Deep inside the knee. That distinct little “catch” I know too well. Today’s match starts late, at 4 PM, so I’ve got time to stretch and prep. Brace is going on. Glutes, hammies, and quads are getting loosened up. I’ll try to take the load off the joint. But I’m definitely eyeing a window...
